Become a “Big” Volunteer

Paulina Baltazar – September 6, 2019

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Franklin County, is a national mentoring program that pairs junior students at Deerfield Academy in 1:1 “matches” with children from the local community. Students spend time here on campus every Friday evening from 6:00 pm – 8:15 pm. You may have noticed these “Bigs” and “Littles” walking around campus together, eating in the dining hall, playing basketball in the gym, dancing in the dance studio, and throwing footballs and frisbee’s around outside. It is a great way to help a child by providing the friendship and guidance of a positive role model, but mostly it is just a lot of fun!

Applications will be received through September 30.
