These past few weeks at the Southampton Fresh Air Home have been wonderful and busy! All of the plants are ripe and the kids have begun harvesting! The crowd favorite has been the strawberries, however, all of this garden is being utilized. In the camp kitchen, the staff uses the garden’s lettuce, tomatoes, basil, peppers, and other assortments of vegetables to create delicious meals for the campers! This Sunday I will be hosting a cooking class with the kids that will feature the produce they helped grow!
