Writing Wild Class Travels to Bryant Homestead

Anna Gonzales – May 4, 2018

Mr. Thomas-Adams’ “Writing Wild” senior elective traveled to the William Cullen Bryant homestead in Cummington on Sunday afternoon. The homestead features both the home in which Bryant grew up, began writing poetry, and to which he retired, as well as a fantastic old growth forest of hemlock, birch, beech, and ash trees. The class enjoyed a detailed tour of the home from its caretaker as well as a hike through the forest.
