Asian Culinary Training for the Dining Hall Staff

During March Spring break the Dining Hall staff took advantage of the time and engaged in 3 days of intensive Asian cooking lessons, under the direction of Chef Shirley Cheng, an instructor from the Culinary Institute of America and a native of Szechwan province of China. The staff worked on recipes and techniques from regions of mainland China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and India. It was a great experience for all involved and those still on campus got to enjoy a taste of Asia!
