The laser interferometer gravitational-wave observatory, or Project LIGO, was responsible for the earth-shattering detection of gravitational waves a few years ago.
This Thursday we are very lucky to have Amber Strunk, the outreach coordinator for the LIGO Hanford site, running a video conference with us. This will include a virtual tour of the facilities and Q&A. Join us in Koch 305 tomorrow during fac break to learn more!
This session is open to everyone in the community.
