As part of the computer science education week, Deerfield Academy will be hosting it’s own Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a global event wherein participants can learn the basics of computer science. In our society, coding is one of the most applicable skills students can learn: it teaches problem solving, critical thinking, and persistence.
Deerfield’s Hour of Code will be this Thursday, December 7th at 11am during faculty break. The location is still to be determined. It is open to all students and faculty as no programming experience is required. Hope to see you all there!
