Andrew Peterson Concert Saturday

communications – April 16, 2013

This Saturday from 8 to 10 pm Andrew Peterson and Caleb will be in concert in the Koch Center as a stop on their national tour. Doors will open at 7 pm. Brian Mansfield, music critic for USA Today, chose Andrew Peterson’s album, Light for the Lost Boy, as one of his top 10 albums 2012. Andrew Peterson has been heralded as “one of the most thoughtful, poetic and lyrical songwriters of his generation.” Peterson and Caleb will bring their alternative rock songs for a concert experience you will not want to miss. While their Christian faith is evident in their songs, their literate, passionate music is accessible to everyone. Critic Jeremy Jones writes they have a “willingness to grapple with difficult questions…moody growlings of electric guitar give teeth to lyrics (that) walk the tightrope of the human condition, at once feeling the crushing weight of mortality and the fierce hope of eternity.” Peterson and Caleb and are brought to DA by Christian Fellowship. Everyone is welcome.

See a video from their tour, and watch Caleb perform their song “Trouble.”
