Spring is in the air and that means animals. If you read our previous Wildlife Warning post, this should come as no surprise: overnight a bear was found on campus.
A black bear was found digging through the trash outside Pocumtuck dormitory (on the “Scaife-side” of the building). Security handled the situation, but asked that we all be cognizant of wildlife on campus. You should read more about what to do if you encounter animals, and you should also take the chance to learn about some of the dangerous diseases they sometimes carry.
As always, if you see an animal on campus, please avoid it and contact security immediately at 413-772-9880.
