In July of 2015, a select group of students will unleash their creative thinking at The Experimentory, a summer program for students entering seventh and eighth grade. The Experimentory will take place on the Deerfield Academy campus, and its interdisciplinary structure will allow students to delve into coding, music, design, and communications. By the end of the four-week program, students will have produced such projects as a new mobile app design, the recording of an original music composition, or the production of a short animated film.
The program is founded on the tenet that creative collaboration is key to innovation–and it’s never too early to start. Students will work together as they create and collaborate as a community, with the best tools and facilities at their disposal.
