Following their first place finishes at New Englands, the girls and boys first boats are competing at Youth Nationals against other top crews across the country.
The girls race at 2:26 pm on Friday (6/12) in the Women’s Youth 4+ (4 rowers with a coxswain) in the first heat. The first place boat moves onto the semifinals Saturday afternoon while all other boats will race Saturday morning in the repechage in hopes of making it to the semifinals that afternoon. The boat is stroked by Claire Collins ’15, followed by Eileen Russell ’15, Paige Cleary ’17, and Katie Livingston ’15 with coxswain Garam Noh ’15.
The boys race at 3:38 pm in the same event (4+). The top two boats in each heat advance to the semifinals Saturday afternoon while all other boats move to the reps Saturday morning. The boat is stroked by Gordon Johnson ’17, followed by Bryce Klehm ’15, Alex DeVries ’15, and Caleb Friends ’16 with coxswain Dani Michelson ’17.
