STEP Information

The STEP (Step Through Education Program) component of the KIPP STEP program brings up to 10 rising 8th grade students from middle schools in western Massachusetts to the Deerfield campus for the 3 week program.  These students reside in the dorms, attend classes and participate in the extra-curricular activities alongside of the KIPP students.

The application and enrollment process for STEP students is slightly different than for KIPP students.  STEP students can access the STEP specific application using the link below and will need to obtain the password from their guidance counselor.  The due dates for STEP forms are also slightly different. Please refer to the sidebar for actual dates.  One final difference is STEP students have the opportunity to come to campus in April for an orientation visit.  Details around the orientation will be provided to accepted students in the spring.
