Reporting to the Academic Dean, the Testing Coordinator administers all aspects of standardized examinations. This non-benefitted, intermittent position will work throughout the academic year, as the testing scheduled requires.
Responsibilities include: Organizing, planning, administering, and directing all standardized tests (SSAT, PSAT, ACT, SAT, AP exams, TOEFL and Oxford), including preparation and dissemination of printed and electronic communications, staffing and supervision of examinations; communicating with College Board, ACT, students, and parents to accurately obtain and disseminate information during testing administration; instituting logistics for testing locations and number of testers; submitting time and attendance/honorariums and assesses performance of proctors.
The successful candidate will possess: a B.S. or B.A. degree; knowledge of testing administration preferred; 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role, computer skills for reporting testing information; excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task ; the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment; a sense of humor, humility, and the ability to work as part of a team; a commitment to an inclusive community and the ability to lift 30+lbs and work possible 12 hour days during AP exams.
