Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Production Manager, as the initial point of contact for the Communications Office, coordinates Communications’ projects to ensure that they are completed on time and with high quality results, in support of, and as part of the Communications team.
Responsibilities will include: providing intake and routing for incoming work requests, ensuring that requests are documented on the production calendar and assigned to appropriate staff, monitoring projects for needs and due dates, and providing support with creative assets; form and document creation, and associated vendor documentation; administering print and online content, monitoring website posts, providing website training as needed, creating new and editing existing webpages; proofreading; administering departmental resources; coordinating online content including schedules and announcements; support departmental administrative functions; manage mailroom processes, functions, and technology.
The successful candidate will possess an Associate’s degree and 2+ years of administrative experience, outstanding office and computer skills (Wrike, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite), outstanding ability to communicate on the telephone, via email, and in person, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and the ability to handle confidential information.
