Job Posting: Admission Operations Assistant

Reporting to the Admission Operations Supervisor, the Admission Operations Assistant represents the Admission Office to the public, performs administrative and database work as part of a team in a highly professional and busy office environment.

Primary responsibilities include: Maintain telephone and e-mail contact with the public to provide information and direct calls as needed, including handling applicant inquiries and interview scheduling,; manage admission.edu email correspondence as the principal responder to ensure timely and accurate correspondence with candidate families; manage student applicant correspondence as needed; input and upload applicant data in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality of applicants; compile statistical reports for the Dean and Director, and for external constituencies; coordinate and execute all advance mailing of admission materials in support of Admission Officers travel to ensure maximum brand messaging; and coordinate the oversight and ordering of office supplies for the department.

Qualifications include: Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 3-5 years customer service experience; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential information; proficiency with MS Office Suite, Google Docs, data entry and integrated databases; ability to multi-task effectively; strong attention to detail; ability to be flexible and work as part of a team; and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to serving the needs of a diverse community.
