Data & Gift Entry Assistant

Deerfield Academy Office of Advancement is seeking a Data & Gift Entry Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Manager of Advancement Database Services, the Data and Gift Entry Assistant supports the Advancement efforts of Deerfield Academy through the entry and maintenance of biographical records and various donations.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Maintain accurate name and address records for multiple Academy constituencies, to ensure the highest degree of data integrity and accuracy; research problems including identifying and resolving data discrepancies; assist with the acknowledgment process for the office including the production and mailing of acknowledgments; assist with gift entry as needed, especially during high-volume times; responsible for answering the Office of Advancement generic phone line professionally and regularly; provide support for special events, projects and mailings as needed; and general office support.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1 – 3 years of experience with data entry; working knowledge of a professional office environment; proficiency with MS Office Suite, data entry and integrated databases; excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail; sensitivity to highly confidential information; ability to work independently and as part of a team, a high level of integrity and a strong work ethic; and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion and to serving the needs of a diverse community.

**SIGN-ON BONUS**

The successful candidate will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 paid at time of hire and $500 paid at the end of 90 days of employment
