Elizabeth Mott

Eliza graduated with highest honors from Princeton University, where she concentrated in art history and earned a certificate in creative writing. Her senior thesis on Marcel Duchamp received the Irma S. Seitz Prize in the Field of Modern Art and her collection of poems received an award for Outstanding Work by a Senior from the Program in Creative Writing. While at Princeton, she was editor-in-chief of the Nassau Weekly and led a consent activism group called SpeakOut. After graduating, she lived in Luang Prabang, Laos for two years, where she worked as a festival coordinator for the Luang Prabang Film Festival, studied the Lao language, and developed her spice tolerance. Eliza is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania through the Penn Residency Master’s in Teaching program. She teaches tenth-grade English, coaches debate and girls’ thirds soccer, and lives on Pocumtuck III.
