Tyler Mudd ’21 and Ryan McHugh ’23 Connect at Baseball Beanpot

Earlier this week, Big Green baseball alumni Tyler Mudd ’21 from Boston College and Ryan McHugh ’23 from Harvard connected at Fenway Park in between games while both of their collegiate teams were competing in the Baseball Beanpot.

Both as pitchers, Tyler is in his senior season for the Eagles and Ryan is in his sophomore campaign for the Crimson.

Currently this season, Ryan ranks third in the Ivy League in saves (three) in all games and first in saves (three) during conference play. In conference play, he has notched a 3.09 ERA with 10 strikeouts over 11.2 innings. He has tallied saves against Yale (Mar. 28), Princeton (Apr. 11), and Cornell (Apr. 19).

Meanwhile on the mound for the Eagles, Ryan has pitched in 12 games this season and will return to action tomorrows for a three-game series with visiting Stanford.
