Girls Varsity Lacrosse Secures Home Field Victory

On Saturday, the girls varsity lacrosse team secured their first victory of the season defeating visiting Middlesex, 10-6.

In the opening half of the game, the Big Green pulled ahead with a 3-2 lead over the visiting side and never looked back.

The draw unit of Chloe Cleaves ’26, Rose Manning ’26 and Lily Woods ’26 helped the Big Green secure possession of the ball which helped propel the attack that went on to record 10 goals in the game.

The Big Green goalies of Olivia Smit ’25 and Kate Doucette ’26 anchored the team’s defense coming up with big saves; stifling the Middlesex scoring opportunities. Collectively, they recorded their fewest goals against per game of the season.

With the victory, the Big Green improve to 1-2 and return to action this Wednesday at Andover. The game starts at 4pm.

Go Big Green!
