No matter the challenge in front of her, she approaches practice and competition with determination, focus, and an unwavering work ethic. This season, she has shown incredible grace and persistence while overcoming injury, staying committed to her recovery and approaching each day with a positive attitude. Camila is also a warm and kind presence on our team. She consistently supports those around her, offering encouragement that makes a real difference in the pool and beyond. Her ability to balance quiet determination with genuine care for her teammates makes her a key piece of our team’s culture. We are so proud of her perseverance and the example she sets every day. Keep up the incredible work, Camila!
Girls Varsity Basketball: Annie Coody ’29
Annie was great last week in our game against Williston and the week before in our win against Hotchkiss. She’s been playing very heavy minutes for us and delivering more and more each game. Last week she played 30 minutes against Williston and guarded their best player for the entirety of it. Against Hotchkiss, she played every minute of the second half and guarded every position on the floor. In addition, she’s been making some really strong plays with the ball in her hands and has become a real threat on both ends of the floor.
Girls JV Squash: Liv Cederholm ’28
Liv Cederholm ’28 is this week’s DOTW for girls JV squash for a well-played match against a strong Williston opponent. This was a five-gamer where Liv really rose to the occasion and played some high-level squash, despite being a little under the weather.
Dance: Katherine Goltra and Rania Limam
Both Katherine and Rania are exemplary ensemble members whose quiet strength and unwavering day-to-day consistency serve as a profound example to their peers. Their dedication is evident in their steady and reliable attendance and preparation for every class. They consistently demonstrate an admirable level of commitment, always ensuring they are present and ready when and where they are needed. Beyond their discipline, Katherine and Rania exemplify grace and kindness, actively striving to cultivate an inclusive, positive, and welcoming dance environment for all. Furthermore, their commitment to excellence is unmistakable; they approach every class and rehearsal with absolute maximum effort and an inspiring work ethic.
Girls Varsity Hockey: Izzy Kirby
Izzy Kirby from the Girls Hockey Team earns DOTW for her intense and consistent play between the pipes. We, as coaches, have been proud with Izzy’s performances in tough games and the poise she demonstrates under pressure. In our last game versus St Paul’s, Izzy made crucial saves and kept us in the game. Her confidence never wavers during games and we all know that we can count on her to make crazy saves. Awesome work, Izzy!
Conditioning for Athletes: Ted Freedman ’27
Works with intelligence, keen focus and a determination to improve daily.
Boys JV Hockey: Jackson Guy
Jackson’s work ethic, strong and smart play on both ends of the ice, and willingness to play forward and defense win him this week’s Door of the Week honor for Boys JV Hockey!
Girls JV Basketball: Winnie Underwood ’28
Our DOTW is Winnie Underwood ’28. Winnie is often the highest scorer on the team, and it’s a product of her tenacity as a defender and her constant efforts to improve. She’s invaluable as a player and is incredibly coachable!
Boys Thirds Squash: Tommy Li
Tommy Li is DOTW for Boys Thirds Squash this week. Even though the team had no matches this week, Tommy exemplified what it is to be a leader by always being the first to practice, working hard, and keeping his teammates’ spirits light with his constant humor!
