Deerfield squash is incredibly proud to celebrate the accomplishments of three players who competed in the 2025 British Junior Open in Birmingham, UK as some of the few who qualified to represent team USA! This is one of the most prestigious events in the squash world and we are thrilled to recognize Hart Robertson ’26, Grace Lodge ’27 and Christian Capella ’25.
From the 10th grade, Grace Lodge played her 4th British Open, went 4-2 on the weekend, and placed 25th overall in the U17. From 11th grade, Hart Robertson played his 4th British Open, went 3-4 on the weekend, and placed 28th overall in the U19. From the 12th grade, Christian Capella played his 5th British Open, went 6-1 on the weekend, and placed 3rd overall in the U19, defeating the no. 1 seed in the quarter finals, and joins Alex Dartnell as the first 2 American males to reach the podium at this age level in tournament history!
