Water Polo Jumps to Early Lead to Secure Win

In their first road game of the season, the girls varsity water polo team jumped out to an early lead against the Suffield Tigers and the team never looked back on their way to their first win of the 2019 season.

In the first quarter, the Big Green scored four goals and added another five goals in the second quarter to lead the Tigers 9-2 at the half. The Doors added three more goals to the score sheet in the second half to defeat the home team 12-4.

Nikki Pelletier ’20 and Maddie Clough ’20 each registered five goals for the Big Green and Darcy Del Real ’22 and Morgan Clough ’20 each added a goal to the score line.

In goal, Amanda Brooks made fourteen saves to earn the win.
