The Deerfield JV golf team was able to maintain a perfect season at Crumpin’ Fox against a feisty squad from Eaglebrook and rival Choate. For the first time this season, a Deerfield player failed to be a medalist —this honor went to an even-par Round from Eaglebrook’s number two. Ari Bahrani ‘29 led the way for Deerfield with a one-over par 37, proving that he plays best when family is in town. With two other matches on the books, Deerfield could only bring five players and count all five scores. PJ Pirsch ‘28 birdied the last hole, inches away from a hole-in-one, to card a five-over 41. Jackson Guy ‘27 managed a six-over 42 after crushing the SAT in the morning. Deerfield rounded out their score of 214 with a 44 from sophomore Bright Yang and a 50 from classmate Julius Rauhs. The swinging doors host Westminster on Wednesday, May 6th.
