Deerfield traveled south to face Hotchkiss on Saturday. The match was interrupted by rain, and the teams relocated indoors to finish singles play. The squad from Lakeville provided the stiffest competition Deerfield has seen all year. There was valiant play across several courts throughout the day, but ultimately Hotchkiss earned wins at every position.
Deerfield will be back in action at home on Wednesday against visiting St. Paul’s.
