Deerfield Academy Girls’ Water Polo delivered a strong, well-rounded performance, defeating Hopkins 17–10 with a balanced offensive attack and steady play on both ends of the pool.

DA seized control quickly and built momentum with contributions from across the line-up, leading 9-3 at the half. While Hopkins mounted a surge in the 3rd quarter, Big Green maintained control and composure.

Anne Kelly ‘27 led the way with five goals, while Sophia Gao ‘26 and Ella Ylvisaker ‘29 each added four in an impressive display of offensive depth.  Joanna Chang ‘26 and Tess Ho ‘27 chipped in two goals apiece, underscoring Deerfield’s ability to generate scoring from multiple positions.

Defensively, Deerfield was anchored by goalkeeper Cramer, who recorded 11 saves, turning away several close-range attempts from Hopkins.
