Deerfield Boys JV lacrosse team opened their 2026 season against Brunswick Varsity “B” team on Saturday at home. James Bellig did a respectable job facing off against a seasoned FOGO player for Brunswick, it was James first time ever in a face-off situation. Goaltending was split between veteran Johan Wilkerson and new comer Owen Andrews. Owen Hannah led the team with 2 goals, Wes Moyer and Marshall Whalen each score a goal in a 15-4 loss. Deerfield’s next game is Wednesday in Avon, CT against Avon Old Farms School.
