The Big Green fell behind 3-0 in the 1st and then scored the next 11 runs, including 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st, leading to a 12-6 victory over a very talented Belmont Hill team. Jack Welch led the way offensively with 3 hits and 2 RBI’s (3 runs), along with two hits from Jake Mohler (4 RBI’s), Tim Harrick (2 RBI’s), and Connor Mudd (3 runs). Jack Wahl-Cox picked up the win on the mound pitching 4 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs, while Tyler Easterbrook picked up the 3 inning save allowing 4 hits and 2 runs. Defensively, Deerfield turned two double plays.
