For the final game of the season, the JV team traveled to Westminster for what all anticipated would be an excellent late-season matchup. The back-and-forth affair remained knotted at 0-0 until the middle of the third period, when Coleman Keller ’28 on the power play drilled home a one-timer from the left point. Unfortunately for Deerfield, Westminster tied the game with 22 seconds left on a perfectly executed pass and tip on a 2 on 2. And then Westminster prevailed in overtime to secure the victory. Ryan Stenzler ’27 was outstanding throughout, turning away many shots right on his doorstep. A special thank you to our seniors, Cooper Lawson, Owen Fleck, Cole, Rorick, Griffin Mariani, Cooper Brozek, and Jarron Crosbie. Their leadership and stellar play will be missed! Also, thank you to Mr. Gomez for providing postgame sandwiches to the team!
