Deerfield was able to jump out to an early lead over Exeter’s JV basketball team, however some lack luster defense and sharp shooting from the Exeter squad led to a one point lead for Deerfield going into halftime. The second half Deerfield Boys JV really competed on the defensive end holding Exeter to just 12 points in the half. The offense did a great job breaking down the Exeter zone as Sam Peake racked up a ton of assists. Every player on Deerfield’s active roster found themselves in the scoring column today. However, Henry Dorman stole the show as he scored 32 points.
