On Saturday, the girls basketball team got off to a hot start against Hotchkiss and never looked back. Deerfield was able to generate a lot of fast break points off of steals from their high pressure defense. Guards Ryan Rodgers, Rose Manning, and Sally Dance were relentless in their pursuit of the ball, which allowed for Sophie Kamil and Evelyn Kunde to finish the transitional opportunities. Despite Hotchkiss closing the margin at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the home team was able to put away some key free throws to seal the game. It was a great day to be a Door!
