In the last of four away games to begin the 2025 season, the varsity field hockey team continued their success with a win over Milton on Wednesday, September 24. After a scoreless first quarter between the well-matched teams, Alessandra Picard ’29 gave the Doors a one-goal lead heading into halftime with a quick shot off of a pass from assistant captain, Lilly Oliver ’26. Early in the third quarter, Oliver found the back of the cage on a corner with assists from Erin Dunne ’28 and Reagan Deery ’28. Oliver completed the scoring for the Doors in the third quarter with an unassisted offensive rush into the circle. Although the Mustangs responded with a goal late in the third quarter and kept up the pressure through the remainder of the game, the Doors’ defense and goaltender, Izzy Kirby ’26, forced a scoreless fourth quarter.
The Doors look forward to their first home game of the season on Saturday, September 27 at 2:30pm against Exeter.
