Deerfield varsity field hockey played their first home game of the 2025 season on Saturday, September 27 against Exeter. The team came away with a decisive win, which was marked by a full-team effort and the enthusiastic support of the DA fans. Goaltenders Izzy Kirby ’26 and Anna Djidetchian ’28 kept the Lions off of the scoreboard, and Deerfield goals came from Chloe Cleaves ’26 (2), Peyton Wierl ’26, Ilsa Borgen ’26, Remi Frankel ’28, Cassie Casey ’29, and Alessandra Picard ’29. The Doors look to keep their winning streak alive on the road against Northfield Mount Hermon on Wednesday, October 1.
