Deerfield JV Volleyball started our game vs. Loomis with a commanding presence, securing Set 1 with a confident 25-17 win, showcasing strong serving, teamwork, and hustle. Madison led the charge with powerful kills, supported by consistent aces from Lily, Willow, and Jessica, while Madison and Willow contributed solid blocks. The team demonstrated great synergy and determination right from the start.
In Set 2, Deerfield fought hard, pushing the game to the wire. Despite aggressive offense from Willow, Madison, and Selin, and key digs by Audrey and Selin, Loomis edged them out 26–24. The narrow loss in Set 2 seemed to shift the momentum.
Set 3 and Set 4 saw Loomis take control with consistent pressure and tactical plays. Deerfield struggled to regain the rhythm, despite continued efforts from Madison and Willow, who maintained offensive and defensive intensity. Lily and Audrey continued contributing with digs and serves, but Loomis capitalized on their momentum to close the match with two decisive set wins.
