Back to back games for the Big Green this weekend finished up with welcoming Nobles to town for a West 1 vs ISL showdown. The game lived up to the hype as there were just under 30 goals scored. The Doors carried the play in the opening quarter. Goals from Johnson ‘25, Lahey’25, and Kelusky’27 paced the Deerfield offense. Nobles hung tough however and pushed the Big Green in parts of the second and third quarters. The one goal game that saw the teams’ trade goals opened up for the Doors, as they held on to win the shootout 16-13. Two wins on the weekend and back at it for the last two weeks of the season!
