Deerfield played the full roster this Saturday and it made for a fun game. Cormac McDowell struck out three batters in the top of the first inning, but the Choate bats came alive in the second inning when they scored all nine runs. Stephen Gomez pitched through the sixth inning, striking out five batters. Deerfield scored a run in the bottom of the second inning and five more in the bottom of the sixth inning. Unfortunately, time ran out and the game ended at six innings to make way for a varsity game. Tim Wang scored his first run of the season. Julian Abreu, Elliot Lennon, Jack Vergamini, Stephen Gomez, and Hart Robinson also scored.
