Lacrosse (Boys): Varsity vs. Choate (12/04/25 3:00 PM)

Event Details

Choate, undefeated thus far, came to Deerfield for a Saturday game with a lot of energy and many great players. The game was as expected – a true rivalry game: competitive, contested and complete with compassion. The two teams never held a lead of more than two goals and, in the end, Deerfield won the game by a score of 10-9, closing the game by defending against a penalty awarded to CRH and an extra-man opportunity in the final seconds. Four-year senior RJ Radonis put on a masterclass at the face-off, winning a high percentage of the draws and, with his Deerfield wing players, also winning many of the ground balls that resulted from the draw. The officiating was commendable – a high energy game with many tough and fair calls. Deerfield stands at 4 wins and 2 losses, and heads to Trinity-Pawling for its next game on April 16.
