Deerfield opened up the 2025 season with a convincing 15-2 win over The Rivers School. 5 different Deerfield hitters had multi hit games. 3B Aiden Barclay and 2B Colton Simas each had 3 hits and drove in 5 runs combined. RF Tate Bannish had a double and a grand slam and drove in 5 runs on his own. SP Tripp Woytowicz pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed just 3 hits and struck out 7 earning his first win of the season.
