JV baseball beat Williston 9-3 at Williston this afternoon. The team committed only a single error in a full seven inning game. Aggressive base running forced Williston to make several errors. Jason Jaikissoon scored twice, and Cormac McDowell hit a triple. Jack Vergamini and Drake Esquer pitched, combining for six strikeouts. The remaining 15 outs were runners thrown out at base, fly balls, or runners caught stealing, making the one-error outing even more impressive. Jack Zhunio caught a deep fly ball in center to end the game.
