Deerfield led the entire game until 2 outs in the top of the 7th inning.  Austin Prep hit a go ahead grand slam to take the lead 4-2. Deerfield was able to score a run in the bottom of the 7th innings but could not score the tying run en route to a 4-3 home loss.  SP Connor Niemec pitched beautifully, going 6 2/3 innings allowing just 4 hits and struck out 10 batters.  At the plate, 1B Bear Adams and 2B Colton Simas each had 2 hits a piece.  CF Mack Mrowka went 1-3 with a RBI, SB, and run scored.
