Girls Varsity Hockey made the long trip to Millbrook on Friday evening, and came away with a 3-1 victory. Olivia Austen ’27 opened the scoring, picking up a loose puck off of a good forecheck by Ava Giroux ’26 and Chloe Cleaves ’26 and finding the back of the net on the backhand. Peyton Wierl’ 26 doubled our lead with a great shot off of Jilliam Limb ’28 faceoff win, but Millbrook was able to find a goal of their own. Nicole Sciarretta ’28 scored our third goal off of a shot from the point that snuck in (assist to Giroux), and Ana Makrogiannis earned the win in goal. Peyton Wierl was the hard hat recipient for her strong forecheck and team first play all night. Many thanks to the Makrogiannis family for the pizza, salads and drinks for the bus ride back.
