Deerfield’s Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey team fell to Hotchkiss 4-1 in the 60th Annual Flood-Marr Tournament final, earning second place. Hotchkiss scored two early goals in the 1st period, but the Big Green cut the lead in half in the waning minutes. The goal was scored by Matteo Alvarez ’26 with an assist from Mikey McGrath ’26. That was all the Big Green would muster, though. Hotchkiss added another tally in the 3rd period and sealed the game with an empty-netter. Elliott Lennon ’26 was superb in net. He, along with Alex Strug ’28 and Lukas Machan ’26, earned All-Tournament honors.
