Traveling to Watertown, CT for its last road match of the regular season, Deerfield lost to Taft, 1-3 (20-25, 21-25, 25-16, 20-25).
Kudos to Taft for a strong all-around team effort with great defense, effective hitting, and consistent serve receive. Deerfield had good moments, but too much inconsistency to be able to hold off the Rhinos.
Deerfield returns to action on Wednesday with a home match against St. Paul’s. First serve is in the Barn at 4pm.
