Hosting the Big Red on Wednesday afternoon, Deerfield played a solid match and earned a 3-0 victory over St. Paul’s.
A nice crowd built throughout the afternoon as all Deerfield players made great contributions to the match. Particular shout-outs to Charlotte Coody ‘26 for her dominant right-side hitting, Evelyn Kunde ‘26 on the outside, and Emerson Lewis ‘28 with her setting and well-timed hitting. Sophia Govi ‘28 had a great service run and Aila Zeitlin ‘29 made some great defensive plays throughout the 2nd and 3rd sets. A great team effort.
Deerfield hosts its final regular season match on Saturday with its rivalry match against Choate. Be there for what should be a good match-up between two solid teams with first serve at 11am in the Barn.
