Deerfield earned a 3–1 win over Andover at home, with set scores of 20–25, 25–16, 25–21, and 25–22. After a slow start, Deerfield found its rhythm and controlled play with consistent serving, balanced hitting, and steady defense.
Andover took the opening set 25–20 despite aces from Blake Coleman ’27 and Madison Stott ’28, and kills from Libby Andrews ’29 and Jessica Wu ’27. In the second, Blake ’27 and Madison ’28 sparked serving runs, Jessica ’27 and Willow Tugume ’28 added kills, and Audrey Tjoeng ’29 anchored the defense for a 25–16 win.
Deerfield carried the momentum into the third, with Madison ’28 and Jessica ’27 leading the attack and Ava Cederholm ’27 and Selin Aksoy ’27 adding key digs and blocks to secure a 25–21 set.
In the fourth, Madison ’28 continued to shine at the net while Selin ’27 and Willow ’28 led the defense, sealing the 25–22 win.
Despite missing three players, Deerfield showed great focus, and teamwork to close out the 3–1 victory.
