In their final Wednesday home game of the fall 2025 season, the Big Green defeated visiting Suffield by a score of 7-0, with two Big Green players registering their first career hat-tricks.
Magda Curylo ’26 opened the scoring off a set piece in the opening two minutes of play to give the Big Green the go-ahead and ultimate game winner.
The Big Green continued to earn scoring chances in the first half but they were turned away by the Tigers goalkeeper.
At halftime, the score remained 1-0 in favor of the Doors.
The Big Green quickly doubled their lead in the second half when Magda notched her second goal of the game by converting a penalty kick.
Blair Murray ’27 recorded three consecutive goals to earn a hat-trick on through balls received separately from teammates Maggie Garbarino ’27, Sally Dance ’29 and Minjoo Serhant ’27.
Eleanor duPont ’26 scored her first goal of the season off a through ball from Ryan Rogers ’27.
Finally, Magda notched her third goal of the game off a corner kick.
In the second half, goalkeeper Winnie Underwood ’28 made a big time back-to-bar save to preserve the shutout. Winnie was supported by the Big Green defense of Blythe Gering ’27, Madga, Lily Woods ’26, Keira Austen ’26, Hazel Patton ’26, Olivia Austen ’27, Nina Capello ’28, and Bridie Weller ’29.
The Big Green will look to extend their success this Saturday when they travel to Hotchkiss for a 4pm kick-off on their turf under the lights.
