An undefeated Loomis Chafffee team hosted Deerfield Academy on a nice fall afternoon, playing on a fast, artificial turf surface. Deerfield came to play, but Loomis demonstrated its prowess as finishers, with three great goals in the latter minutes of the first half. Deerfield demonstrated its resolve, working hard to possess the ball and to disrupt Loomis’ attacking passes. At the start of the second half, Deerfield came out playing well, playing disciplined, and play for and with each other. With a few impressive finishes, Loomis added three more goals in the second half, concluding the game with an 0-6 loss.
Deerfield hosts Exeter on Saturday, October 18, during fall family weekend.
