DAGXC faced our toughest meet of the season, as we lined up against some of the top teams in the league on this beautiful fall afternoon. We gave the race our best effort, but we couldn’t quite pull off a Varsity team win, despite some gutsy performances from Nicole Lefavour ’27, Jane Bannon ’26, Margot Harris ’29, Liesel Stitch ’28, and Maura Glynn ‘28. We did have many individual accomplishments on this day of fast racing: most notably, we had thirty athletes run their season best times, with some, such as Gardiner Dietrich ’27, beating their last time by as much as four minutes! With many of our JV getting season best times by around two minutes, we comfortably beat Choate and NMH in the JV races. We’re looking forward to our senior race next weekend where we will hope to see more fast times.
