A Triumph Against Suffield
The squash team took on Suffield Academy in a spirited match that ended with a strong 7-2 victory for Deerfield. Despite both teams missing players, the competitive energy was palpable from the first serve.
At the 3rd spot, Jasper played a dominant match, sweeping his opponent 3-0, while Francesco also clinched his match in straight sets, solidifying his double-win on the day at the 7th and 9th position. Will, playing at the 4th spot faced a formidable opponent but held his ground to earn a hard-fought 3-2 victory.
Meanwhile, on the first court, Tim battled through four competitive games to secure a well-earned 3-1 win. Finally, Max and his two opponents clashed in a competitive match, but Suffield came out on top at the number 6 and 8 positions.
With Suffield on the schedule again in the coming weeks, Deerfield looks forward to another great showdown — and maybe even more thrilling five-game marathons when both teams have full line-ups.
