Deerfield Girls Hockey traveled to NMH on Wednesday afternoon and came away with a 9-0 win. Much of the game was spent in the offensive end, and the team got to work on creating all different kinds of scoring opportunities. Goals were scored by Chloe Cleaves ‘26, Taylor Wilburn ‘27 (who also earned the hard hat), Gia Thompson ‘26, Ava Giroux ‘26 (2), Olivia Austen ‘27 (2), Julia Tamul ‘25 and Amelia Healey ‘27 (the first of her DA career!). Izzy Kirby ‘26 got the shut out in goal, and hats off to the NMH goalie who made some excellent saves despite facing a barrage of shots. Next up is Exeter at home on Saturday afternoon.
