Girls Varsity Hockey played a fast, exciting, back-and-forth game against Loomis on Wednesday afternoon at home. We opened the scoring, with Allie Corrieri ’25 firing home a rebound (assists to Olivia Austen ’27 and Erin Dunne ’28). Loomis tied the score in the second, but Corrieri gave us the lead back in the third on an absolute blast from the point (assists to Brady Wierl ’26 and Chloe Cleaves ’26). Loomis once again found the equalizer, and despite numerous chances in our offensive end the game headed to overtime. There, we took a tough too many players on the ice penalty as an injured player was making their way to the bench, and the Loomis power play capitalized and found the game winner. Campbell Krotee ’25 played very well in goal, and Corrieri was the obvious hard hat recipient; she models grit on a daily basis. We have a quick turn around with Millbrook up next at home on Friday night.
