In the final dual race of the fall season, the Doors raced at home against the Hoggers of Northfield Mount Hermon. It was the first Saturday that truly felt like autumn, with temperatures hovering in the 50s and blustery winds swirling the fallen leaves. The Green and White harriers swiftly took command of the race by positioning all seven varsity runners ahead of the fifth NMH runner. At the front of the racing, a Hogger led the way for two and a half miles before senior and co-captain Max Wang took a commanding lead and stormed to the individual title. Not far behind were Aiden Van Epps, Liam Walker, JT Gally, Jackson Violich, Arafat Jama, and Leo Friedman rounding out the varsity seven. The junior varsity continued their impressive season with another perfect score on the backs of strong performances from scorers Gus Mallory, Quinn Clark, Reid McCoy, Martin Liu, and Jason Ko. With three key JV runners resting this weekend, the junior varsity looks to make a splash next weekend at the championship.
